According to Statistics Estonia, in November, the consumer price index rose by 0.9% compared with October and by 21.3% compared with November 2021. Goods were 20.1% and services 23.5% more expensive than in November last year.
The producer price index of industrial output, which expresses changes in the producer prices of industrial goods manufactured in Estonia for the domestic market and for export, fell by 1.3% in September compared with August 2022 and rose by 23.2% compared with September 2021.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the second quarter of 2022, the Dwelling Price Index increased by 8% compared with the first quarter of 2022 and by 27.4% compared with the second quarter of 2021.
In September, Kaie Koskaru-Nelk, former Deputy Secretary General of Fiscal Policy of the Ministry of Finance, will assume office as Deputy Director General of Statistics Estonia. Koskaru-Nelk, who has worked in management positions in the public sector for over 20 years, will be responsible for strategic management of statistical analysis departments and international cooperation.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the first quarter of 2022, the Dwelling Price Index increased by 7.1% compared to the fourth quarter of 2021 and by 21% compared to the first quarter of 2021.
According to Statistics Estonia, in October, the consumer price index fell by 1.1% compared with September and rose by 22.5% compared with October 2021. Goods were 20.5% and services 26.4% more expensive than in October last year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in 2020, the Dwelling Price Index increased by 6% compared to the average of 2019. In the fourth quarter of 2020, it rose by 4.8% compared to the same quarter of 2019.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the first quarter of 2023, the construction price index increased by 1.5% compared with the fourth quarter of 2022 and by 12.6% compared with the first quarter of 2022.
